Assistant Vice President - Supply Chain Supplier Manager - Hybrid

About the role

This intermediate-level position participates in procurement activities such as defining the need for goods and services, negotiating price contracts, and authorizing payment for goods and services in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The role's overall objective is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel to support Citi's business.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of High-Risk suppliers in the Mortgage line of business.
• Work with suppliers and internal business units to ensure suppliers perform services according to contractual obligations and Citi Requirements for Suppliers.
• Perform supplier onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding requirements per Citi policy.
• Work with supplier and assessment teams to collect assessment deliverables and coordinate meetings with all parties.
• Manage all aspects of supplier contracts, including negotiating terms and pricing, obtaining appropriate financial and legal approval, and ensuring renewals are completed timely.
• Ensure suppliers' invoices are paid according to contract terms and work with Finance to complete required accrual, forecasting, and other expense-related activities.
• Support RFx events, including serving as the liaison between sourcing and the business.
• Work with suppliers and internal business units to manage issues where suppliers are responsible for remediation.
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Partner with business, technology, Information Security, sourcing, and external business partners to perform supplier oversight activities.
• Ensure supplier contracts are current and have obtained all applicable committee and financial approvals.
• Prepare presentation decks and present to senior-level committees.
• Manage multiple priorities and long-term projects.
• Influence and drive progress within cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Procurement and Accounts Payable (AP) systems.
• Experience with Contracts and eProcurement tools (e.g., Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFX).
• Experience with reporting and analytics.
• Experience with Risk and Controls preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Demonstrated organization and time management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Pay

Full-time salary range: $81,600.00 - $122,400.00. In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
