About the Role
As the Specialty Deposit Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for delivering tailored, exceptional service to law firms, legal professionals, and fiduciary clients within the Juris Banking Division. You will manage a portfolio of specialty deposit accounts, including Escrow, QSF Administration, and DACA, serving as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage Escrow deposit portfolio for Juris Banking Escrow accounts
- Review client-provided escrow agreements or change requests for feasibility, risk, and compliance
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Juris Banking Director of Deposit Operations, Specialty Deposit Operations, TM Sales, and legal team to execute agreements and establish accounts li>Maintain relationships with outside vendors to service escrow accounts
- Update and maintain CRM database, providing reports to Relationship Managers as required
- Serve as primary contact for escrow parties, ensuring excellent communication and client servicing
- Manage deposits, distributions, and tracking as per escrow agreements
- Ensure accuracy of transactions, document retention, and fee assessment
- Assist with monthly certifications of bank-controlled escrow accounts
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in banking, deposits, account servicing, or related field (6+ years preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, regulatory compliance, and legal obligations
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work with relationship managers, legal department, senior managing director, and clients
- Understanding of business implications, profitability, and strategic goals
- Objectivity, openness to feedback, and contribution to a positive team spirit
Pay
Salary range for new hires is generally $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 for San Diego, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives and restricted stock.
