General Summary

The Assistant Vice President serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing Concordia Plan Services' mission and organizational effectiveness through mission integration, business intelligence, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making. The position provides leadership and oversight of organization performance, business analytics, and process optimization, leveraging financial and operational insights to strengthen stewardship, improve organizational performance, drive continuous improvement, and enhance the overall effectiveness and sustainability of the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  • Leads the organization's performance framework by aligning strategic objectives, mission priorities, and organizational resources with measurable outcomes; establishing and monitoring key performance indicators; and leveraging data-driven insights to evaluate organizational effectiveness, strengthen stewardship, drive continuous improvement, and maximize mission impact.

  • Leads and oversees the Business Intelligence and Business Process Optimization functions, ensuring alignment between mission priorities, analytics, operational excellence initiatives, and organizational strategy.

  • Establishes and monitors organization-wide key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, scorecards, and performance measures that evaluate financial performance, operational effectiveness, customer experience, and strategic initiatives.

  • Leverages business intelligence, financial analysis, operational metrics, and predictive analytics to identify trends, assess risks, evaluate opportunities, and recommend strategies that improve organizational and financial performance.

  • Leads the development of organization reporting frameworks that provide business leaders with actionable insights for strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance management.

  • PARTNERS WITH FINANCE, OPERATIONS, TECHNOLOGY, AND BUSINESS LEADERS TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY, PRODUCTIVITY, SERVICE DELIVERY, AND STEWARDSHIP OF ORGANIZATIONAL RESOURCES.

  • GUIDES THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT METHODOLOGIES, GOVERNANCE STRUCTURES, AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT STANDARDS THAT PROMOTE ACCOUNTABILITY, OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE, AND SUSTAINABLE RESULTS.

  • LEADS ENTERPRISE BUSINESS PLANNING EFFORTS BY INTEGRATING FINANCIAL, OPERATIONAL, CUSTOMER, AND ORGANIZATIONAL DATA TO SUPPORT FORECASTING, CAPACITY PLANNING, AND LONG-TERM STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Ten (10) years of progressive business experience required.

  • Experience working cross functionally across organization in a consultative and/or strategic role preferred.

  • Experience in employee benefits, investments, financial services, or related preferred.

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, risk management, regulatory compliance, or investment oversight, with a demonstrated track record of fiscal stewardship and operational excellence.

  • Experience working with and presenting to senior leaders and external partners, including presenting financials, reports, and strategic recommendations.
