About the role
The Assistant Vice President for Student Flourishing, Care & Accountability oversees initiatives that support the holistic development and well-being of students at Arcadia University. This includes fostering a culture of care, promoting mental health resources, and ensuring student success through various programs and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive student support programs focusing on mental health, academic success, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with campus partners to enhance student services and ensure equitable access to resources.
- Evaluate current programs and make recommendations for improvement based on data and feedback.
- Provide leadership in addressing student concerns and advocating for their needs within the university community.
- Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to student care and accountability.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in student support and wellness.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as psychology, counseling, education, or a related area.
- At least 5 years of experience in higher education administration, student affairs, or a similar field.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams, develop strategic plans, and foster collaborative relationships across departments.
- Experience in managing budgets and overseeing resource allocation for student support initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to student rights and responsibilities.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and understanding the unique challenges they face.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with student information systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
