Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach

About the role

The Little Falls Community School District is excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside our coaching staff to build skills, promote teamwork, foster sportsmanship, and create a positive and competitive experience for our student-athletes. Compensation for this position is outlined in the EMLF Master Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the head coach to develop and implement practice plans
• Coach players during practices and games
• Attend all home and away games
• Participate in team meetings and other coaching staff meetings
• Assist in recruiting new student-athletes
• Support the overall mission and values of the school district

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of successful coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience working with young athletes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel to away games

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well with others and lead a team
• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations

Pay

Schedule
