Assistant Toddler Teacher

About This Role We are seeking a patient, energetic, and nurturing Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will work alongside a Lead Teacher & another assistant to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where toddlers aged 15 to 36 months can explore, learn, and grow. What You'll Do Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate daily activities, lesson plans, and routines.Provide attentive care to toddlers, including assisting with meal times, diapering, toilet training, and naptime routines.Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that meets state licensing standards.Observe and monitor children's progress, sharing daily updates and developmental milestones with parents and guardians.Engage children in active play, storytelling, and creative arts to foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Requirements Requirements High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED).Minimum of 6 months of experience working with toddlers or young children in a licensed childcare facility or structured setting (Montessori experience preferred).Must possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Level One or IVP) & CPR/First Aid certificationPhysical ability to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stoop, and sit on the floor for extended periods.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families. Must be available to work T,W, & Th to start from 7:45 AM-2:45 PM (30 min paid lunch) Ability to grow to a M-F schedule.
