Description
Building Blocks for Tots is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers to support the Toddler age group.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Completion of EDU 119, a CDA certificate, or some early childhood education coursework
- The ability to pass all background checks
- A plus if you have previous experience working with toddlers
Required Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Pay
$14-15/hr, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
