About the role
We're hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher for our Lake Orion campus. The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with and support the Lead Toddler Teacher, creating a safe, nurturing, and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning using the High Scope curriculum.
Position Details
- Status: Regular, full-time (40 hours per week)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm
- Pay Range: $14.50-$19.50/hour (depending on certification or degree and years of experience in early childhood education)
- Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a Background screen including fingerprinting
- Prior experience with Toddlers in a classroom setting or as a private nanny
- Reliable transportation
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
