About the Role

As the Assistant to the Superintendent, you will provide confidential support to the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent of the Oregon State Hospital. You will assist in the administration of operational and organizational objectives and strategies, as well as managing and coordinating projects and operational activities. Additionally, you will provide guidance to staff regarding work assignments and oversee office management and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • One year of experience performing administrative duties in support of agency projects or programs. Qualifying experience would involve data collection and analysis, project evaluation and/or analysis, interpretation and application of laws, rules, and regulations or similar experience.

Pay

Salary range: $4,650 - $6,199 per month. The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%.

Additional Details

  • This is a full-time, permanent, management service (MMN), Executive Support Specialist 2 position located in Salem, Oregon.
  • This is an in-office position.
  • Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check and a driving records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment.
  • This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Within three days of hire, you will be required to complete I-9 documentation and confirm authorization to work in the United States. OHA will use E-Verify to verify work authorization.
