Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day administrative operations for the Office of the President of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for special events and projects assigned by the President.
- Directly supervises administrative office staff.
- Develops and implements office workflow procedures to ensure timely operations.
- Addresses rapidly changing situations with flexibility, continuous learning, and innovative problem-solving.
- Ensures data integrity and accuracy through strong attention to detail and self-direction.
- Provides resources and support to colleagues.
- Coordinates corporate sponsorships, manages logistics, and communicates with charitable organizations.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency and experience using the Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
- Strong attention to detail and self-directedness.
- Ability to handle highly varied, complex, and non-recurring problems.
- Extensive in-depth and/or broad knowledge, skills, and practices in Executive Administrative Support.
- Handles corporate sponsorships, seeks management approval, and coordinates logistics.
