Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day administrative operations for the Office of the President of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for special events and projects assigned by the President.
  • Directly supervises administrative office staff.
  • Develops and implements office workflow procedures to ensure timely operations.
  • Addresses rapidly changing situations with flexibility, continuous learning, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy through strong attention to detail and self-direction.
  • Provides resources and support to colleagues.
  • Coordinates corporate sponsorships, manages logistics, and communicates with charitable organizations.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency and experience using the Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-directedness.
  • Ability to handle highly varied, complex, and non-recurring problems.
  • Extensive in-depth and/or broad knowledge, skills, and practices in Executive Administrative Support.
  • Handles corporate sponsorships, seeks management approval, and coordinates logistics.
