Assistant to the Division Directors The Assistant to the Division Directors works closely with the Director of Middle School and the Director of Upper School to oversee the operations and division-wide programming while supporting students, families, and faculty. The Assistant to the Division Directors serves as key administrative support to the Division Directors, works as the liaison to the faculty, students, and families, and is the go-to person for all activities and events, as well as daily operations, in the divisions. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Middle and Upper SchoolsProvide executive assistance to Director of Middle School and Director of Upper School, including calendaring, meeting management, and agenda settingCoordinate division calendars in collaboration with Calendar CommitteeTrack sub coverage in partnership with Department Heads and process paymentsSchedule classroom visits, in support of the faculty feedback process, in coordination with Academic Leadership TeamCoordinate and support MS and US evening eventsManage middle school and upper school budgets, including all credit card reconciliationsCoordinate and/or collaborate in the coordination of division-specific events, including communication with third party vendors, our food services provider, and Buildings & Grounds Support coordination of field trips in partnership with teachers and Associate Directors of Middle and Upper SchoolMaintain the Faculty/Staff mudroomOrder, distribute, and maintain supplies for both divisionsHelp plan, coordinate, and run tech for community meetings in partnership with Technology TeamAttend relevant faculty meetingsManage chaperone and supervision lists, ensuring coverageTrack and distribute faculty and staff parking decals Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 5 years of experience working in educational or other non-profit organizationsCustomer-service mindsetExceptional organizational skills, flexibility of thinking, curiosity, open-mindedness, collaborative approach, and strong problem-solving skillsGenuine interest in and experience working with school-aged studentsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with all members of the communityEagerness to participate fully in the life of the schoolKnowledge of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice practices, and commitment to ongoing growth in this area Create a Job Match for Similar Jobs About Beaver Country Day School Beaver Country Day School is an independent day school serving 460 students in grades 6-12, and located in Chestnut Hill, just outside of Boston.
