Responsibilities
- Executes on various tasks including the inspection, breakdown, cleaning, and stacking of organic material bins
- Wear proper PPE for duties assigned.
- Operate other equipment as assigned, such as sweeper, power washers, HMI interfaces.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and escalate concerns to Supervisor or Managers in real time.
- Forklift duties include unloading trucks and processing food waste.
- Assist with basic PM tasks and other operational activities as assigned.
- Participate in all shift handoff meetings, scheduled trainings, and other meetings as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs frequently
- Must be able to bend, stand, walk, sit, kneel frequently
- Comfortable operating equipment and repetitive tasks throughout their shift
- Able to handle potential changes in temperature on site, humidity and wetness in working areas
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Preferred: 6-12 months maintenance, industrial maintenance, or auto mechanic experience
- Preferred: Experience operating pressure washers and forklifts
- Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in English (preferred)
- Willing to work overtime
Pay
$20/hr
Schedule
Shift Available: 2/2/3 6am - 6:30pm
