About the role
The Assistant Team Lead Research Analyst - FBI IMD plays a crucial role in supporting the FBI's Intelligence and Management Division (IMD) in conducting comprehensive research and analysis to inform policy decisions and enhance operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate team efforts in conducting in-depth research on various intelligence-related topics.
- Develop and maintain databases and analytical tools to support research activities.
- Collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Prepare and present research findings in clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in intelligence analysis and related fields.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Information Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in intelligence analysis or related field.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of analysts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with database management and analytical software.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Information Science, or a related field.
- Experience working with the FBI or similar intelligence agencies.
- Knowledge of intelligence analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
