About the role

The Assistant Team Lead Research Analyst - FBI IMD plays a crucial role in supporting the FBI's Intelligence and Management Division (IMD) in conducting comprehensive research and analysis to inform policy decisions and enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate team efforts in conducting in-depth research on various intelligence-related topics.
• Develop and maintain databases and analytical tools to support research activities.
• Collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Prepare and present research findings in clear, concise reports and presentations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in intelligence analysis and related fields.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Information Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in intelligence analysis or related field.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team of analysts.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with database management and analytical software.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Information Science, or a related field.
• Experience working with the FBI or similar intelligence agencies.
• Knowledge of intelligence analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
