Research Analyst - FBI - IMD

About the role

The Research Analyst position within the FBI's Intelligence Division is responsible for conducting in-depth research on various intelligence matters. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research on intelligence-related topics
• Analyze data and identify patterns and trends
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
• Collaborate with other analysts and departments to ensure cohesive intelligence outputs
• Stay updated with the latest research methodologies and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in intelligence analysis or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of intelligence analysis tools and software

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred
• Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analyses
• Knowledge of intelligence community policies and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
