Essential Duties

• Affords additional assistance and instruction to students.
• Serves as a liaison between teachers and students, coordinating instructional efforts.
• Maintains a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitors student behavior and records relevant data to assess progress.
• Supervises students during various activities including field trips.
• Ensures proper use and care of equipment and materials to prevent injuries and damage.

Education And Experience

• Minimum Associate's Degree OR two years of higher education equivalent to 48 credit hours OR ability to pass a formal assessment (Workkey and 96 hours of in-service training).
• Desirable Associate's Degree with a concentration in Education AND 2+ years working with elementary age children.
