Assistant Teacher Full Time

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Supervise and engage children through play, learning, and routines
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Aid in meal preparation, bathroom routines, playground time, and classroom transitions
• Create a warm, welcoming environment for every child

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have at least a GED or high school diploma
• Must be available to work full-time hours between 6:30 AM and 5:45 PM
• Must have a strong work ethic and be dependable
• Must be an enthusiastic team player
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to see and hear children at all times
• Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, lift, and move actively throughout the day, including for extended periods of time
