About the role
This is more than just a daycare job—it’s a journey where you learn, grow, thrive, and play every day. As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child, maintain a fun and interactive classroom, and develop your ability to observe, assess, and plan for children while communicating effectively with families. You’ll also complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
- Effectively communicate with families.
- Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
- Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Passion for working with children.
- Energetic and dependable.

Pay
$16.40–$17.03 hourly, based on position, education, and experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday work week.
