America's second oldest horse racing track, the Fair Grounds has been a New Orleans staple since 1852. We are a premiere entertainment venue presenting thoroughbred & exotic animal races, slots, video poker and simulcasting year-round. Located in New Orleans, Fair Grounds operates a slot-machine gaming facility and 13 off-track betting parlors throughout southeast Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards the company’s assets.
• Maintains security over the entire facility during assigned shift.
• Oversees guest and employee safety.
• Enforces the company’s policies and procedures.
• Prepares Guest Accident Reports and Security Incident Reports.
• Escorts, coins and cash.
• Collections and transports drop boxes to storage area.
• Administers minor first aid when required.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Supervises Security Officers
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have the ability to obtain a work permit issued by the Louisiana State Police and must have a valid Driver’s License.

Skills

• Two years of security experience and one year of supervisor experience preferred.
