You will: Enthusiastically represents the organization by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the jobEnsure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animalsResponsible for the development of OJT’s and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coachingEnsure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department proceduresEnsure ambassadors receive break and meal periods in accordance with company policy and applicable lawMaintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improveMaintain inventory and stock/replace areas supplies and equipment as neededSchedule compactor pullsMonitor daily labor to align with labor budget and daily attendanceConduct equipment and safety checks in compliance with department and company standardsAttend to ambassadors and follow park protocol in emergency situationsRespond to ambassador and guest needsCommunicate effectively with other areas within the department as well as other departments in the parkTrack information to complete daily and weekly reports What It Takes To Succeed At least 18 years of ageProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsBachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferredAble to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, ethnic/cultural backgrounds, and/or language, and individuals with special needsPossession of a valid state driver’s licenseAble to lift or move 75lbsAble to complete provided CPR/AED training/certificationAble to be trained and certified at all assigned areas and job functionsAble to climb stairs/laddersComfortable with operating forklift/scissor lift/man lift/Pressure washersAble to operate and maneuver in/around tight spacesAble to use heavy equipment for cleaningComfortable with exposure to noise and vibrationsAble to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremesAble to train on and properly use protective gearComfortable working around fumes/dust/odorAble to bend, sit, stand, squat, stoop, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder levelComfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team membersAble to remain calm and professional during challenging situationsHave a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applicationsDuring peak season, at least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidaysDuring the off season, at least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays This position requires overnight work. Must be available and willing to work overnight shifts, including weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as business needs require.
