Job Summary
CPPI is seeking an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent to support and lead field operations on K-12 and Higher Education construction projects. This role may involve assisting with or directly overseeing daily jobsite operations, including safety, quality control, schedule management, subcontractor coordination, and project execution.

Minimum Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- 3-5+ years of commercial construction field experience required; Superintendent-level candidates should have experience independently managing field operations.
- K-12 and/or Higher Education construction experience preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting project deadlines and schedule requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, professionalism, and accountability.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Ability to perform construction-related calculations and measurements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Basic computer proficiency required.
Job Responsibilities
- Aid project leadership with day-to-day field operations and project coordination.
- Support implementation of site logistics plans and jobsite management strategies.
- Coordinate daily and weekly construction activities among subcontractors and trade partners.
- Participate in project meetings, progress updates, and trade coordination discussions.
- Monitor project schedules and assist with look-ahead planning efforts.
- Support jobsite safety initiatives and help enforce established safety requirements and OSHA standards.
- Assist with quality control inspections and ensure work is performed in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintain organized field documentation, including daily reports, punch lists, inventories, and project records.
- Cook up material deliveries and assist with procurement tracking.
- Cook up subcontractor performance and communicate concerns to project leadership.
- Support project teams with RFIs, submittals, and field coordination activities.
- Aid in tracking job costs, timesheets, invoices, and related project documentation.
- Utilize company policies, procedures, and best practices to support project success.
- Participate in training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain positive working relationships with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Deliver exceptional client service and contribute to a positive project experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company objectives.
