Assistant Superintendent - Grain Operations
Support for Operations
Support all functions of operations to ensure best practices and employee compliance with safety and maintenance programs.
Lead basic elevator projects and assist the management team in all other major strategic projects to ensure targets are met.
Collaborate with management in forecasting, problem solving and long-term strategic planning.
Operational Excellence
Maintain company specific software and operating systems.
Monitor and assist elevator management to help achieve financial and business goals.
Recruitment and Interviewing
Assist with development of comprehensive operating plans.
Participate in employee recruitment and conduct interviews for the hiring process.
Education and Experience
Associates degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 18-months to 2 years of grain elevator experience.
Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Solid teamwork and leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
Physical Demands
- Frequently climbs ladders
- Occasionally works at heights of 100 feet
- Frequently required to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Reach for/manipulate standard office equipment
- Communicate with various staff
- Reach for and manipulate objects
