About the role
Tribrook Club is a premier golf course undergoing a full renovation in preparation for its grand opening in May 2027. The renovation is being led by renowned architect Lester George and Vinny Giles, with the vision of becoming one of the top clubs in Virginia. As part of this transformation, all facilities have been torn down and rebuilt, including the new state-of-the-art 7500 square foot turf care center equipped with a fleet of $2 million worth of cutting-edge equipment. The team at Tribrook Club comprises 15-18 hourly staff members dedicated to maintaining the course to the highest standards. As the Assistant Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the golf course.
Responsibilities
- Supervise turf maintenance, irrigation systems, and equipment operation
- Ensure the course meets the expectations of elite golfers
- Work closely with the Superintendent to implement maintenance programs
- Monitor course conditions
- Manage staff effectively
Qualifications
- Passion for turf management
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in golf course maintenance preferred
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and equipment operation
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
