Assistant Studio Manager

About the role

The Assistant Studio Manager works closely with the Studio Manager to set the tone and model Perspire’s mission, vision, and values. As part of the leadership team, this role helps motivate and support team members in achieving studio goals while ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. The Assistant Studio Manager assists with four main studio responsibilities:

• Team Management
• Member Management
• Inventory Management
• Facility Management

This role focuses on achieving sales goals through membership sales and superior guest experiences, offering a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully in the health and wellness sector.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Studio Manager to implement standard operating procedures, ensuring Membership Sales Associates and Studio Assistants maintain consistency and uphold daily expectations.
• Assist in the training, coaching, and development of team members.
• Bring positive, team-first energy to make Perspire Sauna Studio an exceptional workplace.
• Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and team members.
• Communicate updates, new products, offerings, events, and protocols to the team in the Studio Manager’s absence.
• Lead the team in strong membership sales, measured by conversion percentage and sales performance charts.
• Maintain high visibility and positive interaction with guests, ensuring hospitable, consistent, and courteous service.
• Resolve guest complaints or membership issues with the highest level of customer service.
• Promote the benefits of IR saunas and the value of a Perspire Sauna Studio Membership to guests.
• Understand and articulate the science, technology, and benefits of IR sauna, chromotherapy, and Red Light therapy.
• Ensure all front desk systems are followed, including proper member check-in, telephone inquiries, consent forms, studio tours, delinquent account procedures, and new membership agreements. (Mindbody Software experience is a plus.)
• Perform weekly and monthly inventory purchasing and processing functions.
• Conduct and document daily and weekly studio inspections to ensure facility operation standards are met and all equipment functions properly.
