Assistant Storekeeper (Limited Pool)

About the role

The Assistant Storekeeper assists in managing the receiving, logistics, organization, and distribution of all Campus Store inventory not on the sales floor. Responsibilities include assisting with inventory related administrative and receiving functions for all Campus Store merchandise. The incumbent maintains accurate computer-based records of inventory levels and locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory related administrative and receiving functions for all Campus Store merchandise.
• Maintain accurate computer-based records of inventory levels and locations.
• Manage receiving, logistics, and distribution of inventory not on the sales floor.
• Lift and move heavy textbooks and drive a 20-foot truck.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills to prioritize work and complete assignments.
• Knowledge of Windows based computer programs: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and support multiple functions with fluctuating priorities.
• Certified forklift driver.

Qualifications

• High school or a General Education Diploma.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Prioritize work and manage a variety of complex projects simultaneously with accuracy and detail.
• Apply policies and procedures to numerous circumstances as directed.
• Ensure adherence to university policies and procedures.
• Work within the proper channels.
• Work in a fast-paced work environment and support multiple functions with fluctuating priorities.
• Ability to be certified as a forklift driver.

Pay

The salary or hourly range for this position is $21.05/hr. - $27.75/hr. The realized minimum pay for this position will be $25/hr., steps less than $25/hr. will include an additional amount elevating to $25/hr.
