About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in various areas including brand, people, and operations. They also ensure safety and loss prevention measures are in place.
Responsibilities
Brands: Supervise and plan associate activities to enhance customer experiences, align with brand standards, and resolve customer issues.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.
Operations: Manage store processes, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, schedule staff, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure store safety, protect assets, analyze reports, and enforce policies related to inventory, cash control, and HAZMAT.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Age 18 or older
3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
1+ year prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
