About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty, ensure brand standards are met, and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, coach associates, and maintain positive relations with Store Manager peers.

• 30% Operations: Ensure processes are executed, manage inventory, schedule employees, and comply with safety and loss prevention protocols.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and analyze reports to ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
