About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing a team of associates, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty, ensure brand standards are met, and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit and hire associates, and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

• 30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory and payroll, and adhere to safety and loss prevention protocols.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and comply with HAZMAT training and execution requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
