Assistant Store Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in maintaining a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. They assist with supervising employees, managing merchandise presentation, completing paperwork, and handling deposits. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, opening and closing the store, scheduling and training staff, managing inventory, implementing planograms, and ensuring financial integrity through cash handling and security practices. Qualifications & Skills Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to interpret documents and perform mathematical calculationsProficiency in cash register functions and report generationKnowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policiesAbility to drive to make bank deposits Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferredAt least one year in retail and six months supervisory experience preferred Working Conditions Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 poundsUse of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and cartsFast-paced environment with occasional outside weather exposure and travel
