Position Overview
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, meet operational goals, and follow company policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service within the store and build customer relationships
- Establish a strong customer service culture within the store
- Aid the Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives
- Aid the Store Manager in recruiting, developing, and motivating team members
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform the responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and supervise CSR activities in the absence of the Store Manager
- Analyze financial statements and trends to increase sales
- Resolve customer complaints for increased customer satisfaction
- Manage schedules, cash, and store audits
- Review Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training materials
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- A minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as finance, retail, hospitality, and restaurant
- Willingness to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
- A strong desire to exceed company initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A high-energy, collaborative management style
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle frequent interruptions

Pay Band
The starting pay range for this position in Massachusetts is $19 - $21 USD per hour.
