Position Overview
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, meeting operational goals, and following company policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service within the store and build relationships with customers.
- Establish a strong customer service culture within the store.
- Aid the Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives.
- Aid the Store Manager in recruiting, developing, and motivating team members.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform the responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and supervise CSR activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Analyze financial statements and trends to increase sales.
- Resolve customer complaints for increased customer satisfaction.
- Manage schedules, cash, and store audits.
- Review Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training materials.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as finance, retail, hospitality, and restaurant.
- Willingness to engage with customers and develop positive relationships.
- A strong desire to exceed company initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A high-energy, collaborative management style.
- A professional appearance and demeanor.
- Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency a plus.
