Overview

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager to build a high-performing team and deliver results through exceptional customer experiences. This role shares responsibility for executing store operations and maintaining a visually appealing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans for achieving business goals and growing the store.
  • Show product knowledge, sell effectively, and engage customers to foster brand loyalty.
  • Develop and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee store operations and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Learn about various aspects of the business and contribute ideas to drive growth.
  • Manage store operations effectively during challenging situations.
  • Perform POS transactions and manage store functions when the Store Manager is absent.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar volume, apparel business (preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance.
  • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to operate a computer, other office equipment, and use a monitor for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means.
  • Ability to bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures up to 50 lbs. as needed.
