About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including brand execution, people development, operations, safety, and loss prevention. They ensure that all store processes are executed efficiently and maintain compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Brands: Supervise and plan associate activities to enhance customer experiences and maximize sales/KPIs. Ensure brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
• People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and manage associates, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Operations: Manage store operations, including inventory, payroll, and store opening/closing procedures. Support digital strategies and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.
• Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, enforce policies, and protect company assets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience
• Ability to lead or support a team
• Effective communication skills
• Scheduling availability to meet business needs
• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
