About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including brand, people, operations, and safety.
Responsibilities
Brands: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards are met.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit new hires, and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.
Operations: Manage store processes, ensure compliance with company policies, and handle inventory and payroll.
Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and adhere to safety guidelines.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years old
At least 3+ years of retail sales/customer service experience
At least 1+ year of prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
