About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing a team of associates, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and support associates in achieving sales and KPIs, manage merchandise, and ensure compliance with brand standards.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop the team, recruit new hires, and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.

• 30% Operations: Ensure adherence to company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and comply with safety and loss prevention protocols.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and enforce safety and security policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
