About the role
The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all store employees. This position is based in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Show excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

- Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.

The hourly or salary range for this role is provided in good faith by 7-Eleven, Inc. at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in this state. This range may be modified in the future.
