Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)
About the role
The Assistant Store Leader Trainee role at 7-Eleven is designed for individuals who enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience. This role offers full-time hours and provides valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Show excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
- Show a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of retail management experience, and a valid driver's license.
- Show the ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver's License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
Skills
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
- Ability to assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
- Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

$15.00 - $21.00 Hourly
