The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) position at 7-Eleven, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching to all store employees. This role offers full-time hours and valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
  • Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
  • Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain interpersonal relationships with employees and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
  • The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Previous supervisory experience in retail or similar field.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
