Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

The Retail Assistant Manager role is open to those with previous supervisory experience who enjoy working as part of a management team and are eager to gain valuable management and leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
- Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in computer operations, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to maintain a clean, safe environment, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous supervisory experience is highly valued.
