Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is based in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Show excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in computer knowledge (preferred Microsoft products: Word, Excel).

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

• Experience in retail management or similar field.
