Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team as an Assistant Store Leader Trainee. This role offers full-time hours and provides valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and interact professionally with all employees and customers.
• Perform tasks such as multi-tasking, bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous supervisory experience in retail or similar field.
• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems.

The pay range for this role is determined by 7-Eleven in good faith at the time of this posting. The actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, qualifications, and performance.
