About the role
We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team as an Assistant Store Leader Trainee. This role offers full-time hours and provides valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
- Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
- Have a High School diploma or GED, or at least one year of Retail Management experience, and a valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance.
- Be able to multitask, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
