Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)
About the role
We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team as an Assistant Store Leader Trainee. This role offers full-time hours and a valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
- Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and build positive relationships with employees and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- At least one year of retail management experience or a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience.
- A valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and reaching.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with one year of retail management experience.
- Experience with cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and sanitation procedures.

$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
