Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)
About the role
The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) position at 7-Eleven, Inc. is a management role aimed at those who enjoy working as part of a team and have previous supervisory experience. This role focuses on overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. The Assistant Store Leader Trainee role is also open to immediate consideration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Competent in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
While a High School diploma or GED is preferred, candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants must also have a valid Driver’s License from the state of residence and be able to maintain automotive liability insurance during their employment.

The hourly or salary range for this role is provided in good faith by 7-Eleven, Inc. at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in this state. This range may be modified in the future.
