About the role
The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) position at 7-Eleven, Inc. is a leadership role aimed at overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. The role also involves assisting in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
- Absorb and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Assist in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Utilize proficient computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

The hourly or salary range for this role is determined by 7-Eleven in good faith at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in this state. This range may be modified in the future.
