Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

As a Retail Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading and managing a team, providing excellent customer service, and driving store performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote loyalty programs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
• Communicate effectively and maintain interpersonal relationships
• Use proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred)

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School diploma or GED preferred with at least one year of retail management experience
• Valid driver's license with auto liability insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Previous supervisory experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
