Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. This position offers full-time hours and valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
• Absorb and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Competently handle cash transactions, fuel sales, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively and interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize proficient computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office products.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

• Experience in retail management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program operations.

The hourly or salary range for this role is determined by 7-Eleven in good faith at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in this state. This range may be modified in the future.
