About the role

The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at Speedway7-Eleven involves overseeing and providing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. This position is open to those with previous supervisory experience and focuses on promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
  • Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
  • Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Assist in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
  • Show excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Show proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred).

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
  • A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
  • The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
