Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Use proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred) for tasks like Word and Excel.
• Manage multiple tasks, perform physical activities, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
• The ability to multi-task, perform physical activities, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in retail management.

Skills

• Customer service leadership and coaching skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to handle cash and fuel transactions.
• Knowledge of health and sanitation procedures.

$11.50 - $17.75 per hour
