Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)
About the role
The Assistant Store Leader Trainee role at 7-Eleven is designed for individuals who enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience. This role offers full-time hours and a valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
- Manage multiple tasks, perform repetitive physical activities, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
- The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting.
Qualifications
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.

$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
