Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. This role offers full-time hours and a valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotions.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to health and sanitation procedures.
• Show excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Display proficiency in computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
• Have a High School diploma or GED, with at least one year of retail management experience, and a valid driver’s license with auto liability insurance.
• Be able to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred), excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills are also required.

Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting our loyalty program. Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures to ensure the store is presentable and that all products are in-stock. Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills. Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred Word, Excel).
