Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)
About the role
We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. This role offers full-time hours and a valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Aid in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotions.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to health and sanitation procedures.
- Show excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Display proficiency in computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
- Have a High School diploma or GED, with at least one year of retail management experience, and a valid driver’s license with auto liability insurance.
- Be able to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures to ensure the store is presentable and that all products are in-stock. Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills. Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred Word, Excel).
